Focused heavily on people, growth, leadership and progression, Amanda Aiken is an executive coach, social impact entrepreneur, and education systems leader committed to helping leaders and their organizations thrive. Amanda brings an extensive background involving organization health strategy, leadership pipeline strategy, innovation/scaling strategies, and cultivating experiences catered to social impact leaders that power their impact, sustainability, and hone their leadership skills. Even more, she enjoys leveraging this insight not just to position others for competitive success but to do so while ensuring everyone involved feels confident as they propel forward as both individuals and thought-leading professionals.

Amanda has built a large inventory of experiences and development throughout her career as a Principal Consultant of A. Leigh Solutions and has since become a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. Her intention is to help the next wave of generational leaders leave their own marks that help propel themselves, their businesses, and the community forward. 

. Amanda is the Co-Founder of The Center for Sustainable Leadership, a Doctoral Candidate at Harvard University in the Doctorate of Educational Leadership Program, and an acclaimed Harvard Presidential Public Service Fellow. In this position, Amanda is respected for serving as a part of the Harvard Graduate School of Education teaching teams for Immunity to Change (certified coach), Faith Education and Leadership, Leading Learning, Leading School Strategy, and Innovation. 

Amanda began her career as a 4th-grade teacher and held numerous roles in the education sector leading up to serving on the school district level, working directly with the Superintendent as the Senior Chief and Schools Officer for NOLA Public Schools. Amanda is also in the process of completing her doctoral residency at Surge Institute, where she has helped to launch a cohort-based experience for executive leaders of color and develop their innovation strategy. Furthermore, Amanda is known for supporting Tulane University with their new Masters of Ed Leadership by revamping a class on policymaking for equitable leadership. Amanda’s experience was also leveraged by Relay Graduate School of Education as an Adjunct Professor and Summer Principals' Academy at Teachers College, Columbia University as an internship coach.

Academically, Amanda is a Harvard Doctoral Candidate, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude Spelman College graduate, where she earned her BA in Child Development/Teacher Certification. She obtained her Master's in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University. Amanda is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and The Links Incorporated.
